Welcome to the final night of the NBA season! The most important thing to be aware of tonight will be lineup changes. Most teams have already solidified their spots for the regular season, so teams will be resting players prior to the start of the playoffs. Currently the Heat and Wizards are tied for 7th in the East. If they both win, the Heat will holdthe 7th seed which will have them face the Celtics. If the Wizards win and the Heat lost, they will flip flop positions. The Bucks also currently sit in 6th just a game above the two teams which could cause a three way tie for 6th at this point. The Jazz and Trail Blazers are jockeying for 3rd place in the West. Both will be looking for a win tonight. The best game of the night will no doubt be the Nuggets and the Timberwolves. They are playing for 8th place tonight as they are both currently tied for the last playoff spot. This is a do-or-die game for both teams that shoud be packed with excitement!
Top Guards: Frank Ntilikina and De’Aaron Fox
Frank Ntilikina represents the best per dollar play in my breakdowns. He played 40 minutes last game and posted 35 DK points. I am expecting more of the same in the same matchup with the Cavaliers tonight. De’Aaron Fox seems like he could have a massive blow up game tonight against the resting Rockets. I expect him to see around 35 minutes and should be able to crush his price tag.
Top Forwards: Eric Moreland and Greg Monroe
Eric Moreland should start for injured Andre Drummond tonight against the Bulls. He has crushed when starting for Drummond and should have a great send off tonight in a dream matchup. Greg Monroe will see plenty of minutes tonight with Al Horford out of the lineup tonight. He has a fantastic matchup with the Nets tonight and just went for 56.75 DK points against the Bulls three games ago with Horford out.
Top Centers: Nikola Jokic and Karl-Anthony Towns
They will face off in the best matchup of the night. If I had to choose just one, I would probably play Jokic as he has looked unstoppable lately and Towns is not the best defender. If you are looking for a slightly cheaper option, Marcin Gortat could be a nice GPP play against the Magic tonight.
Top Values: Andre Ingram and pick your spot!
I really love Andre Ingram’s story and for a minimum priced punt play on the last night of the season, why not! How can you not feel for a guy who has spent his 10-year career in the G-League and finally getting a call-up for the Association. Other top values at this point are Montrezl Harrell, Aron Baynes, and Ben McLemore. Check those starting lineups!
