Last Night’s Games

Raptors 101 – Heat 84

DeMar DeRozan caught fire again last night, as he scored a team-high 40 points. This was his second consecutive 40-plus points game, and he’s the clear focal point of the offense. He also added six rebounds, three assists, and one steal to his line.

Hassan Whiteside posted a solid double double, but Goran Dragic showed off great versatility last night. Dragic scored 13 points with seven rebounds, seven assists, and four steals in 33 minutes of action.

Suns 98 – Nets 126

Marquese Chriss has been on fire for the Suns recently, and last night was no exception. He played 31 minutes, double doubling with 23 points, 11 rebounds, two steals, and one block.

The Nets played team basketball last night, but Rondae Hollis-Jefferson should be mentioned. He only played 15 minutes, but he scored five points with 16 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block. He is the first player in a few decades to have more than 15 rebounds in 15 or less minutes in a game.

Clippers 95 – Mavs 97

DeAndre Jordan shot a perfect 6-6 from the field, but only 2-4 from the line, scoring 14 points. He also added a ridiculous 18 rebounds, one assist, and two steals for another big double double.

No one really stood out for the Mavs, but Seth Curry and Harrison Barnes led the offense. Nerlens Noel drew the start, as well last night, and he displayed great versatility with eight points, 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks.

Grizzlies 90 – Spurs 97

The Grizzlies struggled quite a bit last night, but Mike Conley was able to lead the team. He scored 22 points to go along with two rebounds and six assists in a tough loss to one of the best teams in the NBA.

LaMarcus Aldridge has been on fire since dealing with a heart issue, and he looked great again last night. He was able to score a team-high 23 points with eight rebounds, one assist, and three blocks.

Knicks 95 – Blazers 110

The Knicks rested multiple starters last night, which allowed Krisptaps Porzingis to lead the offense. He scored 18 points with nine rebounds, one assist, one steals, and three blocks in 38 minutes of action.

Once again, Damian Lillard caught fire early in this game and led the Blazers offense. He scored a team-high 30 points with four rebounds, five assists, and two steals. He was also fairly efficient, shooting 9-17 from the field and 8-8 from the line.

Tonight’s Games

Nets vs Wizards

Brook Lopez is coming off a bad game, but he’s still averaging 24.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game over the last 10 days. He has scored at least 35 fantasy points in four of his last five games, and he gets a fast paced matchup against the Wizards tonight. Lopez can be used in all leagues.

John Wall has certainly cooled down a bit recently, but he’s still playing at a high level. He’s averaging 20.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, 10.3 assists, and 2.2 steals per game over the last 10 days, and he has been playing well for much longer than that. He gets a great matchup against the Nets, and Wall can be used in all leagues.

Cavs vs Hornets

LeBron James saw his price dip for some reason tonight, and now he’s a bit too cheap. He gets a great matchup against the Hornets, who James is averaging 60.3 fantasy points per game against in three matchups this season. James makes a great option in all leagues.

Cody Zeller makes an interesting option tonight. He tends to fly under the radar because of Frank Kaminsky, but Zeller is playing solid minutes, and comes with tremendous upside. He gets a tough matchup against the Cavs tonight, but Zeller still makes a good tournament option tonight.

Nuggets vs Pacers

Gary Harris has been on fire for the Nuggets recently, as he’s averaging 19.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game over the last 10 days. He has scored at least 30 fantasy points in six consecutive games, and he gets a good matchup against a fast paced Pacers team tonight. Harris can be used in all leagues.

Paul George isn’t going to come cheap anymore, but that is because he has been on fire recently. He’s averaging 27.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.8 steals per game over the last 10 days. He gets a tough matchup against the Nuggets, but George has been matchup proof recently, and he has been playing well enough to be used in all leagues.

Pistons vs Magic

This is going to be a matchup of two of the best centers in the NBA. Andre Drummond has been playing fairly well recently, while Nikola Vucevic has been unstoppable. Vucevic has scored at least 49 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Drummond, on the other hand, has scored at least 40 fanatsy points in three of his last four games. Of the pair, Vucevic is the safer and better option tonight, but Drummond has more than enough upside to be considered in tournaments on this slate.

Suns vs Celtics

Marquese Chriss has been locked into big minutes for the Suns recently, and he has looked outstanding during that time. He’s averaging 18.6 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 1.4 steals in 30.4 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He gets a great matchup against the Celtics tonight, and he played well against them in limited minutes earlier this season. Chriss can safely be used in all leagues.

Al Horford is another center that has been playing extremely well recently. He has displayed great triple double potential over the last 10 days, and he’s averaging 18.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game over that span. He gets a great matchup against a fast paced Suns team, and Horford can be used in all leagues.

Hawks vs Bucks

The Hawks are a difficult team to peg right now, but Thabo Sefolosha makes an interesting option. He has played 31 and 28 minutes in his last two games, and he was able to score 24.5 and 30.5 fantasy points in those games. He’s still fairly cheap, and he should see big minutes again tonight. He’s a decent salary relief option in all leagues.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is coming off a huge game against the Kings, and that could be the game he needed to catch fire. He gets a matchup against the Hawks tonight, and he has played well against them in three games this season, but Antetokounmpo is strictly a GPP option on this slate.

Pelicans vs Rockets

E’Twaun Moore continues to be a bit underpriced tonight. He is coming off a tough game against the Grizzlies, but he had scored 20 or more fantasy points in his four games before that. He gets a fast paced matchup tonight, and Moore can be used in all leagues as a salary relief option.

James Harden has caught fire again, and he has looked unbelievable. He’s averaging 34.5 points, 10.8 rebounds, 11.3 assists, and 2.5 steals per game over the last 10 days. He has scored at least 70 fantasy points in four of his last five games, including a huge 83 fantasy point performance against the Pelicans. He gets a rematch against them tonight, and Harden can be used in all leagues.

Sixers vs Bulls

Surprisingly, Nik Stauskas has been the most consistent option for the Sixers over the last four games. He’s averaging 28 fantasy points per game over that span, and he has scored at least 20 points in each of his last two games. He has been locked into big minutes for Philly recently, and he’s cheap enough to be used in all leagues tonight.

The value of multiple Bulls players has increased because of the injury to Dwyane Wade, but Jimmy Butler has been the biggest beneficiary. He has seen his usage rating increase, and he’s averaging 52.1 fantasy points per game since Wade was ruled out for the season. He’s playing a huge role in the offense, and he can contribute in multiple categories. Butler can be used in all leagues tonight.
