NBA DFS Daily Bounce Pass 11.15 November 15, 2016  |  Jon Kelly

After another fun night of NBA DFS, we have an interesting five game NBA slate tonight. Both the Heat and the Nets are on the second leg of a back-to-back tonight so keep that in mind as you go through roster construction for tonight.

MUST PLAYS:

Damian Lillard $9,300 DK $9,500 FD

Damian Lillard continues to be one of the best and most underrated Point Guards in the NBA. Also, he is a DFS monster. He has scored over 32 real life points in three of his last four games and that makes seven out of 11 games over 30 points this season. He draws a favorable matchup tonight against Rajon Rondo in a game that is supposed to stay close and has the second highest over/under of the slate.

Karl-Anthony Towns $8,200 DK $8,400 FD

It has been difficult to predict the eruption spots for Towns this season but he has been very solid regardless. He has gone for at least 20 points and 10 rebounds in three straight games now and he gets a home matchup against the Charlotte Hornets who don’t rebound or defend down low. Lock him in for a double-double with major upside if this game turns into a track meet.

Jimmy Butler $8,000 DK $8,600 FD

Jimmy Butler is finally playing like the superstar that we all thought he was. He now has 66 DraftKings points in two of his last three games. He should continue to see heavy minutes and usage in a game that is going to be high scoring. Butler has always been great at getting you the peripharal stats but the main difference between now and early on in the season is him getting to the free throw line. He has attempted at least 10 free throws in five of his last six games as opposed to one of his first four games to start the season.

VALUE PLAYS:

Lou Williams $5,600 DK $5,200 FD

Lou Williams is one of the safest mid-tier options at Shooting Guard almost every night. He is only going to get minutes in the mid 20s but because he gets so many shot attempts, he has a safe floor of 25. He has scored 25 or more on DraftKings in his last eight games straight and I would expect that to continue against the Brooklyn Nets who have been involved in some high scoring affairs just about every night. If you’re not looking to pay up at the position, Lou Williams is a great option that will help you save some salary as well.

Taj Gibson $5,500 DK $5,500 FD

Water is wet. The sky is blue. And Taj Gibson is underpriced. Gibson is averaging over 5x his salary and has a fair amount of upside in this game against the Trail Blazers. Much like Boston, the Blazers struggle to defend Power Forwards and Centers so we will continue to target them there until further notice. As we said, this game is going to have plenty of fantasy goodness and if it stays close, Gibson should see minutes in the low to mid 30s.

Nemanja Bjelica $3,800 DK $4,000 FD

Obviously, Bjelica had the huge game on Sunday but that isn’t the only reason we are looking at him tonight. For starters, it’s only a five game slate so there isn’t a ton of value. That being said, if Zach Lavine is ruled out again, Bjelica becomes a plug and play in a game that should be fast paced and close. He has the ability to fill up the stat sheet as witnessed on Sunday and is too cheap if he is going to see those minutes again.

TOP TOURNAMENT PLAYS:

Andrew Wiggins $7,000 DK $6,900 FD

One thing I like to do in tournaments is to identify players that have been shooting the ball well and filling it up but may not be in the best matchup or highest over/under games. Andrew Wiggins fits that mold perfectly tonight against the Charlotte Hornets. Michael Kidd-Gilchrest is normally someone who I never target players against but Andrew Wiggins has been scolding hot this season. He should be under owned in this spot making him a great tournament play with his high upside even in a tough matchup.

DeMar DeRozan $8,800 DK $9,200 FD

Pretty much the same situation that I described for Andrew Wiggins fits DeRozan tonight. He has a tough matchup against the Cavs and the Raptors have one of the lowest implied totals tonight meaning he shouldn’t be heavily owned in tournaments. That being said, DeRozan has been putting up a ton of shots and with that type of volume he is almost matchup-proof. His 37.3 true usage % is almost 10% higher than any other Shooting Guard on the slate tonight.

Kemba Walker $7,900 DK $8,300 FD

Kemba Walker is always a strong tournament play given his ability to go off on any given night. He has gone over 50 DraftKings points in two of his last four games and has only scored under 20 real life points in just one game this season. He draws a favorable matchup against the Timberwolves who are bottom 10 in DVP vs Point Guards. This game has sneaky shoot out potential and Kemba Walker could be in for a monster night.

That’s all I got for tonight. Best of luck everybody and remember to #TrustTheProcess.

Quis’ Bracket Breakdown

South Region Final Four pick: Virginia Cavaliers I typically run for the hills when talking about taking Virginia in the March timeframe. While their defensive efficiency is amazing, the “grind-it-out” style they play does not set up well for March. You are going to run into a hot-shooting team and need ...
