2012-13 Fantasy Basketball Point Guard Rankings October 1, 2012  |  Scott

Point guard is probably the deepest position in fantasy basketball this season. It always tends to be deep, but this year it seems to be even more so. The way of the point guard in the NBA is evolving into more of the Derrick Rose-type, while the old school game-managers like Derek Fisher and Kirk Hinrich appear to be taking a back seat. Depth usually  means you can wait on them in drafts, but if you are hoping to get a guy like Russell Westbrook or Kyrie Irving, you better do it early. It should be easy to plug holes in the early season with guys like Luke Ridnour and Nate Robinson while Ricky Rubio and Derrick Rose recover from their knee injuries. Let’s take a look at the Top 35 Point Guards heading into the season:

Other Positions:

Point Guards

Shooting Guards

Small Forwards

Power Forward

Center
