Welcome to the fifth installment of 30 Teams, 30 Years, 30
Drafts featuring the Charlotte Bobcats. This series takes you through each of the teams’ draft picks from 1978-2008 and evaluate how they fared. The Bobcats are a fairly new franchise and they have only had five drafts that are able to be reviewed so far. They have the lowest score yet, but drafting Sean May and Adam Morrison back-to-back years will do that sort of thing to you.
Total Score: 2.250
View the previous teams and their scores here:
Boston Celtics – 3.885
Philadelphia 76ers – 2.561
Toronto Raptors – 2.659
Orlando Magic – 2.861
Let us know in the comments below who you think their best and worst draft picks were.

1- Emeka was the first member of his family born inside the United States. Yes, I’m going to be reaching for anything close to interesting in the five years of Bobcats drafts.
2- Felton is the PG returning to the NYC area that did not drunkenly crash his car in the Hamptons on a street I was driving on only 12 hours earlier. He is however the PG who the past two years has attempted to eat himself out of the league. Both were apparently better options than Jeremy Lin. I will now go cry in the corner for a few minutes…. And I’m back.
3- Speaking of eating yourself out of the league…Here’s Sean May!
4- Seeing his mini-Summer League resurgence we’ll give him credit for getting to 200 games. We will also however subtract two points for being drafted ahead of Brandon Roy
5- We’ll give Ryan the benefit of the doubt and say he gets up to 400 games.
6- Jared will get 3 more starts.
