-Paul Millsap and company fought hard 
to get themselves in the playoffs last night. Millsap has been up and down this season, but he saved one of his best performances for the clinching game. Millsap posted 26 points, 15 rebounds and 3 steals as the Jazz took down the Suns to lock up the 8th seed in the Western Conference playoffs. Al Jefferson (18 points, 16 rebounds) was impressive as well despite being forced from the game for stitches early.
-Gustavo Ayon finally returned to prominence last night as the Hornets rested even more players, sitting Jason Smith and Eric Gordon. Ayon tallied 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks last night and that is the kind of line he can provide any time he gets consistent playing time.
-Travis Outlaw got another start last night for the Kings with Marcus Thornton out again, but he finally got the playing time to back it up with Terrence Williams also out. He finished with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 blocks. Outlaw has been a solid NBA player before and it scored him a big contract that he never lived up to. Keep an eye on where he lands next season.
-Marco Bellinelli has been impressive every time Eric Gordon has been held out lately. He got the start last night and scored 23 points to go with 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Bellinelli is known for his shooting, but provides enough in other areas to be more than useful when he is playing solid minutes.

Blake Griffin (LAC) – Griffin had one of his best games of the season last night for the Clippers and they still need a win tonight to keep homecourt advantage in the first round, so I expect him to play very well again. Chris Paul has a tender groin, but has said he plans to play in the important game, look for him to be similar to last night if he can go also.
Donald Sloan (CLE) – It looks like Kyrie Irving is doubtful due to being sick, so Sloan will get the start tonight. Sloan hasn’t been overly impressive stat wise, but provides a solid baseline due to his minutes and point guard role.
Paul George (IND) – George was impressive as the lead scoring option for the Pacers the other day and with Danny Granger already ruled out again, he should take over that role again tonight. He is a must play as long as he is starting tonight.
Ekpe Udoh (MIL) – Milwaukee has been eliminated and Monta Ellis and Drew Gooden are both banged up and candidates to be shut down before the game tonight. Scott Skiles and the Bucks would probably like to get a good look at Udoh in a real game, so this should be a solid play tonight.
