Welcome to the SharkTank ladies and gents! Here at the tank I cover who’s good, and who you might think is good!
I’ll be posting updates, extra Sharks, and everything fantasy related on Twitter throughout the day as well. So feel free to follow me @chrisdco
We have a huge slate tonight I hope you guys are rolling as we’re hitting the last 2 weeks of regular season basketball.
Sharks
Carmelo Anthony @ MIL (34+ FPTS) – Haters can hate all they want but fantasy basketball players love Melo
when he’s playing like he has in his last 2. He has no way to go but up and ever since the resigning of D’Antoni, as he has the green light to pretty much do anything he wants, yes that includes ugly 3 pointers that go in from time to time. Love his match ups tonight at the 3 or 4 spot and should continue to pour on as he carries his Knicks to the playoffs.
DeMarcus Cousins @ NO (34+ FPTS) – Cousins exploded last night at Dallas after several poor outings, it’s nice to see him get back on track and as he continues his campaign to be known as one of the better big men in the league. His campaign this year has been very solid, I heard his work ethic has been a lot better and he should continue to roll for his Kings especially at NO tonight. DMC is on his way to be a top tier fantasy big man, no lie.
JJ Hickson v GS (25+ FPTS) – With Aldridge out and Batum a GTD, Hickson gets a very good chance against the Warriors front court. He’s been doing good with the playing time he’s getting but I’m expecting a little bit more from him as a starter. He gives very good value for his price and would be my top value pick for tonight.
Paul Millsap @ HOU (34+ FPTS) - Millsap looked great in his last outing going 18-10-2-2 as he seems like he’s over his illness that bothered him a few games back. He was slumping for a bit, hardly playing defense but it looks like he’s back. Millsap is getting Luis Scola tonight and as long as Millsap gives the same effort as he normally does, he should dominate.
Ramon Sessions @ SAS (28+ FPTS) – One of the more interesting match ups tonight would be the Kobe-less Lakers going up against the Spurs. It feels awkward to point out that Sessions would be the best guard on the Lakers tonight and should be the difference maker. The Spurs has always allowed opposing point guards to drop points on them and the Lakers will need Sessions to do just that. He’s very decent priced and should be considered on all teams.

Kevin Love, I’ve seen it too many times when Love gets punished by Denver’s post defense. They have a very underrated post defender in Harrington and with the addition of Mcgee, it could just get worse. Denver is very deep with Farried stepping up so I’d avoid Love at all costs.
PHI @ TOR, I’m avoiding pretty much all Philly games like this simply because anyone can step up with the Sixers rolling 9-deep and picking players on the opposing team is hard because they have the Sixer defense has very good shut-down potential.
The Goran Dragic/Kyle Lowry project, this will go on and should be avoided at all costs, in my opinion. Anyone who plays these guys and gets rewarded really doesn’t deserve to win, but even that is highly doubtful.
Marcin Gortat, I’m personally not happy with the 21 minutes of bad basketball that he showed us the other night and I’m avoiding him for now. I’ve loved Gortat the entire season so I’m not so sure what the problem is besides Robin Lopez playing decent basketball. In addition to going up against Marc Gasol tonight, I’m passing on Gortat.
