Welcome to the SharkTank ladies and gents!
Here at the tank I cover who’s good, and who we might think is good, in our 4-game Thursday!
I’ll be posting updates, extra Sharks, and everything fantasy related on Twitter throughout the day as well. So feel free to follow me @chrisdco
Shark-O-Meter: 60-36 63%
Shark of the Night: 3-2 60%
Value Shark: 5-0 100%
We didn’t really get much output from our players last night in general, hardly anyone surpassed 35 fantasy points from any team so scores must’ve been low for daily cash games. Hopefully players would do better tonight!
Sharks
Dwight Howard v OKC (40+ FPTS) SHARK OF THE NIGHT –
Tonight’s going to be a very good game for these teams. I think unlike last night, Dwight is actually going to come out and play. He has a very favorable matchup against Kendrick Perkins, and even Ibaka should be a non-factor. I’m looking for the Magic to go to Dwight a lot, not only to get points on the board, but to control the pace of the game. Get him in your lineups.
Randy Foye @ SAC (15+ FPTS) VALUE SHARK – Foye is probably a must start tonight having a lot of high salary players with good matchups. He’s cheap, and he’s stepping up when needed. I like Foye to at least get 15 FPTS tonight with a couple of 3′s and a bunch of other stats, not looking for him to explode though, just a cheap play with some value in it. We’re also expecting a high scoring game tonight, so that might help.
Russel Westbrook (33+ FPTS) – Westbrook has one of the more easier matchups tonight against Nelson, Wafer, and Duhon. I don’t think none of the three can get even close to Westbrook. After a subpar performance from him last night, I’m looking at hopefully 30 points from him tonight, we can’t avoid the turnovers and the FG% but assists, steals and some rebounds are going to be there.
Lamarcus Aldridge v MIA (33+ FPTS) – Again, we’re talking about Miami’s interior presence. Aldridge should be the difference maker in this game, meaining, in order for the Blazers not to get blown out, he has to step up. He has the easiest matchup in the game as Wallace and Batum will have their hands full. I’m not so sure how Jamal Crawford will play out tonight but I’m not seeing a repeat performance as well. I’d say Aldridge is the one who’s going to step up tonight.
